About

HackCMU is Carnegie Mellon University's premier beginner hackathon. We've got the food, prizes, hack space, and mentors for the perfect creative environment. Bring your peers together for 24 hours to transform your crazy idea into something amazing that you can show off to your friends, judged, and our corporate sponsors. This is the perfect introduction to the world of hackathons.

Mentorship

Whether you've been coding for a few days or a few years, we will get you the right mentorship so that you can succeed.

Show Off

Show off what you've created in a 2 minute presentation in front of your fellow hackers and corporate recruiters. Let them see what you've got.

Prizes

We will be awarding big prizes for the best hacks. There will also be prizes given out by our sponsors for their favourite hacks or for a category of choice. (prizes TBD)
